SETR A503

The SETR A503 controller was specially developed for the North American market based on the TR 0603mc basic controller. With its special certification (ETL label) from a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the US, the controller meets the safety standards and minimum requirements of the North American market.

The equipment is connected inside the installation casing using either a plug & play solution for the mains and pump connections or alternatively 1/2 inch cut-outs.

As a particular highlight, the TR A503 stores the system's operational data on a SD card. The 40 pre-programmed systems and numerous additional functions allow universal use of the controller. The large graphic display shows the animated control circuits, which allows you to view the operating statuses of each system. The TR A503 has six inputs for recording temperatures or pulse values, as well as an extra Grundfos Direct SensorsTM input for combined temperature and flow rate measurement. Pumps and switching valves are controlled using three outputs, some of which can be speed controlled.

The analysis software Steca TS Analyzer 2 visualizes the system results.

Steca TS Analyzer

The Steca TR A503 is capable of saving all operating data and balance sheet values of the solar energy system directly on a SD card. The analysis software Steca TS Analyzer 2 visualizes the system results. Temperatures, pump running times, heat quantity and flow: all measured values – even those collected over longer periods – are illustrated in diagrams to produce valuable comparative data. The documentation is completed with a control function: each state of the system as well as any faults or alerts are illustrated. Furthermore, the software has an export function for other spreadsheet programs.

This type of digital data collection and evaluation provides the user with up-to-date information about the performance of the solar energy system – all clearly displayed on the PC. The free monitoring software also stands out due to its user friendliness. It is individually configurable and easy to operate.

By offering the solar controller Steca A503, paired with the free software Steca TS Analyzer 2, Steca is able to replicate the worldwide success of its solar controller series.
