Amaala represents a groundbreaking endeavor in the world of luxury tourism, positioned along the stunning Red Sea coast in northwestern Saudi Arabia. This expansive, year-round destination spans over 4,000 sq. km and offers a diverse array of experiences, making it the world's first integrated family wellness destination. Amaala ensures that guests can enjoy unique and restorative experiences, whether their interests lie in sea and sun, sports, arts, or culture.

The project's first development phase is scheduled for completion by mid-2024, featuring over 1,300 hotel rooms distributed across eight different resorts. Upon full completion in 2027, Amaala will encompass more than 3,000 hotel rooms within 25 hotels, approximately 900 luxury residential villas, apartments, and estate homes, as well as a collection of high-end retail establishments, fine dining restaurants, wellness centers, and recreational facilities. Amaala is committed to providing an unparalleled luxury experience, blending natural beauty with world-class amenities.

Solar Water Heating along the Red Sea Coast

Amaala is dedicated to operating sustainably, with a vision of running on entirely renewable energy sources and achieving a zero-carbon footprint. Furthermore, they aim to sustainably source 50 percent of all food by 2030, emphasizing their commitment to environmental responsibility.

The project has already taken steps to integrate renewable energy solutions, with a total of 50 SunEarth solar water heating systems installed on-site. These systems include temperature data monitoring to track and optimize energy efficiency. Each system boasts a rated power of 75 kW and offers a maximum annual energy savings of 13,155 kWh.
